If you are a peach lover, the Cuban Peach cocktail is a great way to use them during peak season when they are at their juiciest.
While fresh peaches will give the best flavor, you can also use frozen peaches when they are out of season. Just make sure the frozen peaches are fully defrosted before muddling them. Cuban Peach Cocktail
- 1 slice fresh peach
- 1-1/2 parts white rum
- 1-1/2 parts peach schnapps
- 1/2 part freshly squeezed lime juice
- Dash of simple syrup
- Mint sprig for garnish
- Muddle the peach slice in the bottom of a mixing glass, then fill with ice. Add the rum, peach schnapps, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake vigorously, strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a mint sprig.
