Prickly Pear Margarita

This is a variation on a classic margarita made with tequila, triple sec, lime juice and prickly pear puree.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce agave nectar
  • 1 ounce prickly pear puree
  • Salt
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass and shake over ice. Strain into a salt-rimmed margarita glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
