Our Scandinavian-inspired holiday menu is centered around succulent venison tenderloin and includes complementing appetizer, sides, and dessert.
Inspired by the unique style and aromatic flavors of Scandinavian cuisine, this unique holiday menu features venison tenderloins, lightly seasoned with juniper, allspice, and fennel and served with a sauce made with caramelized goat cheese from Norway, sour cream and a splash of aquavit.
Although may think it sounds a bit exotic, venison tenderloin is surprisingly fast and easy to cook. All it takes is a quick sear in a hot pan and a few minutes in the oven to finish cooking.
We hope you'll give this menu a try. It's become a holiday tradition in our family.
This traditional Norwegian dessert is a delicious combination of cinnamon-spiced applesauce, buttery breadcrumbs, and walnuts.
