Bacca and Bellini Sangrias
Bacca (Berry) Sangria
2 ounces Duca del Frassino Cabernet/Corvina or Merlot/Pinot Noir
1 ounce black raspberry liqueur, berry liqueur or blackberry/raspberry purèe
1 ounce pomegranate juice
1 ounce orange juice
1 splash freshly squeezed lime juice
Add ingredients to a large wine glass and fill with ice. Stir to incorporate and chill. Garnish with floating raspberries, blueberries and a lime wheel.
Bacca Sangria by the pitcher (8 to 10 servings)
2 cups Duca del Frassino Cabernet/Corvina or Merlot/Pinot Noir
1 cup blackberry or raspberry purèe
1 cup pomegranate juice
1 cup orange juice
Juice of 1/2 lime
In a pitcher, add ingredients and stir together with plenty of ice. Add raspberries and blueberries to the mix. Pour into large wine glasses and garnish with lime wheel.
2 ounces Duca del Frassino Garganega/Pinot Grigio or Durello/Chardonnay
1 ounce peach liqueur or schnapps or peach nectar
1 ounce good quality lemonade
1 ounce Mionetto Prosecco Brut
Add ingredients to a large wine glass and fill with ice. Stir to incorporate and chill. Garnish with floating peach and strawberry slices and fresh mint.
Bellini Sangria by the pitcher (8 to 10 servings)
2 cups Duca del Frassino Garganega/Pinot Grigio or Durello/Chardonnay
1 cup peach nectar or purèe
1 cup good quality lemonade
1 cup Mionetto Prosecco Brut
In a pitcher, add ingredients and stir together with plenty of ice. Add peach and strawberry slices to the pitcher. Pour into large wine glasses and add fresh mint to the glass.
