A bourbon-spiked pitcher of iced tea is the perfect refresher to serve at your next summer get-together. These two recipes from Wild Turkey Bourbon are easy to make, can be stored in the fridge and go great with classic warm-weather fare like burgers, hot dogs and barbecue.


Bourbon-Spiked Iced Teas

  • Wild Turkey Mint Tea
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1-1/2 cups Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • Juice from 1/2 lime

In a large saucepan, boil 2 cups water. Remove from heat; add the tea bags. Steep 8 minutes; discard teabags. Add 2 cups cold water. Transfer to pitcher and chill. Add fresh mint leaves, lemon juice and lime juice. Using a wooden spoon, crush the mint to release the flavors. Stir in Wild Turkey Bourbon. Serve over ice.

Makes about 1 quart

  • Wild Turkey LiberTea
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cups lemonade
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon
  • 1-1/2 cups Wild Turkey American Honey

Preparation:
In a large saucepan, boil 2 cups water. Remove from heat; add the tea bags. Steep for 8 minutes and discard tea bags. Add 2 cups of cold water and the lemonade; transfer to pitcher and chill. Add fresh basil leaves and crush them with a wooden spoon to release the flavor. Stir in Wild Turkey Bourbon and American Honey. Serve over ice.

Makes about 2-1/2 quarts
