Easy Absinthe Cocktails
Absinthe is a unique herbal flavored liqueur with a distinctive licorice taste derived from a combination of aniseed, fennel, star anise, coriander, nutmeg, juniper and other botanicals.
Rumored as the favorite liquor of Picasso, Poe and Hemingway, absinthe is traditionally made in three different styles.
Bohèmian style is made with less aniseed, resulting in a lighter licorice flavor and making it more suitable for mixing.
Parisian style uses more aniseed and has a stronger licorice flavor and Blanche is a clear version of the liqueur.
