Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared
Tasting Notes ~
Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared, brewed in Orlando, Florida, is a hometown favorite in the Central Florida area.
OBP Squared (aka: OBP2 or OBP Squared) uses the same ingredients as its little brother, the original Orange Blossom Pilsner, but half the water. The result is a just like making a stronger pot of coffee - much bolder flavors.
Recommended Glassware: I recommend serving Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared in a pint/tumbler glass.
Appearance: OBP Squared pours a deep amber color with a foamy head that quickly goes away.
Aroma: Honey with just a hint of citrus.
Flavor: Honey and malt are the main flavors, making the overall flavor very sweet but not too overpowering. There's also just a very tiny hint of citrus and alcohol flavor as well. The mouthfeel is somewhere between medium and full bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. For an 11% ABV beer, this goes down incredibly smooth.
