Southern Comfort is a distinctive liqueur made from whiskey that's been blended with fruit and spices. The original pairs so well with the tangy flavor of lime, that the makers have created a delicious new blend, Southern Comfort Lime.

Southern Comfort Lime is ready to be enjoyed on the rocks, with a splash of soda or mixed into a light and refreshing cocktail.

We got the notion to try it in a white sangria combined with a little peach brandy and some fresh fruit and were pretty pleased with the result.

Their Selected Vineyards series of wines are made from carefully chosen Central Coast vineyards using traditional techniques like small-lot barrel fermentation and oak aging.

The Selected Vineyard 2009 Riesling is an aromatic white wine, well balanced with a subtle sweetness, refreshing acidity and flavors of fresh, ripe pear and tropical fruit.

Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup

Wild Hibiscus flowers are beautiful, edible flowers are a must-have for any cocktail party or festive occasion.

The flowers are sustainably harvested and then preserved in a cane sugar and spring water syrup.

Wild Hibiscus flowers are amazing in that they retain their stunning ruby color and shape, whether used in cocktails or haute cuisine.

Wild Hibiscus has a rich, deep berry flavor with just a hint of bitter tang, reminiscent of rhubarb.

Besides lending a gorgeous shade to any drink, the flowers can put on a bit of a show. Place a flower in a flute and pour champagne over top of it and the bubbles will cause the petals to unfurl - a blossoming flower!

Dogfish Head Festina Peche

Style: Berliner Weisse
Notes: Very light bodied pale yellow beer with a medium amount of carbonation. There is a somewhat sour/tart flavor but it's balanced very nicely from the sweetness of the peach.

Buckbean Brewing Company

Product Review ~

Buckbean Brewing Company is a Reno, Nevada based brewer producing a wonderful line of artisanal canned beers.

Their Orange Blossom Ale, Black Noddy Lager and Tule Duck Red Ale have all earned a good deal of praise throughout the beer community. Having had the opportunity to sample all three, we'd say that praise is well placed.

Owner Douglas Booth and brewmaster/partner Daniel Kahn have chosen to package their craft brews in cans for a variety of reasons.

Besides offering better protection from light and air for the beer itself, cans are friendlier to the environment.
