Georgette's Grounds & Gifts has an amazing selection of Fair Trade coffees that are micro-roasted and packaged in Ohio.
Besides delivering 100% shade-grown, organic and Fair Trade Certified freshly roasted coffees, Georgette's also provides job opportunities for Ohio residents with disabilities and a meaningful income for the coffee growers who supply the beans.
The Coffee of the Month Club is an awesome way to sample single origin beans and coffee flavors from around the world.
You can opt for a 3-month or 6-month subscription, and in each monthly shipment, you'll receive a different 12-oz. coffee variety.
We sampled three of the coffees available from Georgette's: Georgette's Sunrise Special, Roy's Rare Roast and Rwanda Regular.
Normally, I prefer to grind whole beans myself for the freshest flavor, but I can honestly say that Georgette's ground coffee is the freshest tasting "pre-ground" coffee I've ever tasted.
I generally choose bright, medium roasts for my morning cup, so Georgette's Sunrise Special was my favorite of the three (sourced from Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Ethiopia), but the other two were fantastic, as well.
Should you choose to buy any of the coffee varieties individually, you can choose from whole beans or ground.
Georgette's Coffee of the Month Club would make a fantastic gift for anyone who appreciates a good cup of coffee. Not only is it some of the best coffee I've ever had, it's organic, Fair Trade Certified and helps support a staff with disabilities - all great causes to help out just by drinking coffee!
