"500 Chinese Recipes" is a book that's not necessarily on the mainstream radar of the American cookbook scene, but we're certain that if you love Asian food and can procure a copy, you won't regret it.
As the title implies, this is a collection of 500 recipes, not just from China, but "classic influential recipes" from Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. Every recipe is accompanied by a photo and nutrition information - something you don't always see, especially in Asian cookbooks.
The link here is for a hardcover edition, but the copy we found is a softcover. Despite the "bargain" price, this book is a very valuable resource for the cook that loves to dabble in Asian cuisine.
