If you're looking for beers to accompany your holiday meals and impress guests, Anheuser-Busch has two new seasonal lagers that will be available through the end of the year.
Michelob Celebrate Cherry and Michelob Celebrate Chocolate are 8.5% alcohol lagers that combine rich aromas and a smooth flavor.
Michelob Celebrate Cherry is a new addition to the holiday lineup this year, and it is made with natural cherry juice and aged on dark cherries. Celebrate Cherry has a deep, garnet color and is brewed with Munich, carapils caramel malts and European aroma hops.
Back for the second year in a row, Celebrate Chocolate is brewed with caramel and roasted malts and a variety of Hallertau/Tettnang and Alsace hops. It is aged on cocoa beans and features a complex dark chocolate taste and aroma.
The holiday lagers are available in limited-edition, 24-oz. platinum bottles.
"These are truly special beers that look gorgeous and are sinfully delicious," said Eric Beck, brewmaster for Anheuser-Busch. Beck suggests serving them at room temperature in crystal snifters.
"Serve these beers alongside a selection of desserts," Beck said. "Michelob Celebrate Cherry pairs wonderfully with a rich, fudgy chocolate cake, while Michelob Celebrate Chocolate tastes terrific with turtle cheesecake."
