Euphoria: Greenville, SC Food and Wine Event

Euphoria Food and Wine Festival in Greenville, South Carolina If you can make your way to Greenville, SC anytime from September 11th through the 14th, you'll have an opportunity to attend Euphoria, a world-class wine and food event. Restaurateur Carl Sobocinski and singer-songwriter Edwin McCain are the hosts for this 4-day event that includes wine tastings and seminars, cooking demonstrations, multi-course dinners and live musical performances.

A number of well-known chefs from around the country will be in attendance to host the various events, and all proceeds will be donated to "Local Boys Do Good," a non-profit organization started by Carl Sobocinski and Edwin McCain. The organization provides support to various upstate South Carolina charities that focus their efforts on hunger, health and education.

Here is a sampling of just a few of the upcoming events on the schedule:

Friday, September 12th ~

Taste of the South: Several of the area's finest restaurants will feature a tasting of traditional Southern dishes along with live music by Edwin McCain and friends.

Euphoria Food and Wine Festival in Greenville, South Carolina

Saturday, September 13th ~

Food, Wine and Music Seminars: Guest chefs, both local and visiting, along with master sommeliers will conduct a series of culinary demonstrations and wine seminars in Greenville's beautiful downtown park throughout the day. Live musical performances will complement the event.

Sunday, September 14th ~

Culinary Cook-off: In this event hosted by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, local and visiting chefs will compete in a series of live cooking demonstrations.
